João Pedreda manages and photographs each assignment, with assistants brought in when the scale, pace, or logistics require additional support.
Photography remains at the centre of the studio’s work, with video available when a project benefits from a broader visual treatment. The level of production is tailored to the brief, whether PortoPhoto is working directly with a client or alongside an agency, an internal team, an architect, a venue, or a production partner.
Based in Porto, the studio works throughout Northern Portugal, across the country, and internationally. PortoPhoto can also provide local knowledge, location research, logistics, and on-the-ground production support for visiting teams working in Porto and Northern Portugal.
